What is Microblading?

Every effort is made to ensure that the treatment is as smooth and pain-free as possible. We use a topical anesthetic cream and gel that has proven to be effective in numbing the treatment area prior to and during the procedure. That said, pain tolerance levels vary based on the individual, and certain habits and conditions can adversely impact the effectiveness of the numbing procedure. These include having fibromyalgia, being a frequent smoker, and having the procedure performed during your menstrual cycle.

What is Permanent Makeup?

Permanent cosmetic makeup is a sophisticated micro-procedure known as cosmetic tattooing. Specially formulated colored pigments are deposited into the dermal layer of the skin. Permanent makeup consist of permanent lip color, eyeliner, beauty marks, or freckles.

What is 3D Areola Repigmentation?

Areola repigmentation is a highly specialized practice of paramedical tattooing, which restores the color, size and shape of the areola. This procedure is often considered the final step after major breast related surgeries including, breast reduction, mastectomies, reconstruction, or implants. This procedure provides a more natural appearance of the areola after breast reconstruction surgery.

What is Scalp Micropigmentation or Hair Simulation?

This specialized form of micro-tattooing allows us to shade and simulate hair growth to re-create the appearance of a full head of natural looking hair.  We  create tapered  hairlines to match your style needs, skin tone and head shape. This technique is also used to reduce the appearance of hair transplant and accident scars.

How many treatment sessions are needed?

Most procedure will require an average of 2 - 4 sessions.

Do you use the standard tattoo pigments?

No, here at INKspired we use a variety of specialized pigments to achieve your desired look. Our pigments contains a unique mixture of colors to simulate natural skin tones or hair colors.

Do I need a consultation?

We require that each client schedule a consultation for medical tattoo and scalp micropigmentation services. Consultations for permanent makeup services are optional, although available upon the client's request. There is a $50 fee for consultations. If you decide to book your services within 2 months of your consultation, then the $50 will be credited to your account.

How long will my  Treatment Last?

Results vary depending on the individual. The treatment is semi-permanent and does not wash off. However, the pigment does fade over time. In most cases Microblading Eyebrows treatments last about 1 - 2 years, Permanent Makeup treatments last about 2 -5 years, Medical Cosmetics & Tattoo treatments last about 3 -5 years, and Scalp Micropigmentation treatments last about 3 - 4 years.

Results CANNOT BE GUARANTEED as they are dependent on numerous factors such as the pigment color used, lifestyle choices, etc. After the color fades, additional treatments can be performed.

Is there an Age requirement to receive services at INKspired Cosmetics?

To receive any service at INKspired Cosmetics, you must be at least 18 years of age or older. If you are under the age of 18, you must have a signed parental consent form.

What Specific Factors might have an Impact on the Effectiveness of the Treatment?

The following factors may have an effect on the success of the procedure:

  • Exposure to the Sun: The sun can significantly lighten and soften the treated area, leading to premature fading. For this reason, sunblock and other protections (such as wearing a hat and sunglasses) should be used once the healing period is completed.

  • The Speed at which the Cells Regenerate: The longer it takes for the cells to regenerate, the longer the pigment will hold.

  • The Pigment Absorption Rate: The slower the pigment is absorbed into the skin, the longer it will hold.

  • The Color Chosen: As a general rule, lighter colors tend to fade more quickly over time than darker colors.

  • Bleeding while the Procedure is Ongoing: Any type of bleeding within the treated area during the procedure will reduce the amount of pigment absorbed into the skin. For this reason, it is important to avoid drinking alcohol or taking blood thinners in the days prior to and following the procedure.

Is your Clinic and Equipment Safe?

Absolutely! We go to great lengths to ensure that our studio space is immaculate and sterile. For example, we use only single-use and disposable blades and supplies, meaning these materials are only used once before being safely discarded. After that, new materials are brought in for the next client after the station is disinfected and sterilized.
